A WELL-KNOWN face from our TV screens will star in a new play at the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Swan Theatre next year.

Caroline Quentin, who was one of the main characters in Dickensean on ITV earlier this year, will play Lady Sarah Hotham, wife of Sir John Hotham, in The Hypocrite.

Her other TV credits include Men Behaving Badly and Jonathan Creek.

Mark Addy, who found fame in hit Brit film The Full Monty, will play Sir John.

The Hypocrite is described as a riotous new comedy and will run in March and April.

RSC regular David Troughton has also this week been confirmed in the role of Titus in next year’s production of Titus Andronicus. He is currently appearing in King Lear at the Barbican.

David Troughton is staring in King Lear alongside Sir Antony Sher. He has been cast in the title role of Titus Andronicus at the RSC next year.
