TRAFFIC was delayed in Stratford-upon-Avon this morning (Wednesday) after two cars collided on the Market Cross roundabout.

No-one was injured when a blue Hyundai and a silver Ford Fiesta Zetec were in collision at the Bridge Street end of Wood Street by Barclays Bank. The accident happened at approximately 8.55am and was attended by a medical crew.

The two cars were moved around the roundabout and placed outside Costa coffee shop, where three months ago a driver ploughed through pedestrians, injuring seven people.

The damaged cars were still there at 10am, and the drivers were exchanging details with each other and the police.
