Two ambulances and a paramedic officer in a rapid response vehicle were sent to the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Ambulance crews responded to a road traffic collision involving two cars. A child, believed to be 11 years old, received facial injuries. Two men in their 20s and 60s were treated for minor injuries. A woman in her fifties and travelling in the second car involved was treated for a hip injury.

“All the patients were conveyed to Warwick Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
