Adams was pleased with his side’s performance. He said: “We all know that Saturday was disappointing, but I felt that we put that behind us. We were strong throughout the 90 minutes and showed plenty of commitment in the second-half to dig in and come away with a well-deserved draw.

“Some supporters might query why I didn’t use any of our substitutes, but I felt that the lads on the pitch were doing a tremendous job, and I didn’t want to do anything to disrupt them. Shortwood is always a difficult place to go to and I’m really pleased with our overall performance.”
