The Panthers bowled Penn out for 188 at the end of their 55 overs. Mike Brown took 3-47 and fellow seamer Tom Grundy 2-10. There was a wicket apiece for skipper Chris Whelan, James Urquhart and Abel Mokhuane.

In reply, Stratford reached a victory target of 192-8 inside 51 overs with middle order batsman Ben Pigott top scoring with 51. Mokhuane made 35, Dan Protherough 33 and Whelan 21.

Stratford return to home soil next Saturday when Bridgnorth are the visitors to Swans Nest Lane in a 12noon start.
