On Monday, the former head of Walkwood CE Middle School, in Redditch, was ordered to sign onto the sex offenders’ register for a year.

Doubtfire, who admitted to the act of voyeurism in court, was also given a 12-month conditional discharge.

Recorder Allan Mainds said: “It is very, very sad indeed that a man with your impressive background should be before the court for something like this.”

Doubtfire told police he fell over in the changing room and “took advantage of his position.” When the charges were brought against him he formally resigned from his job

Doubtfire, who was sentenced at Hereford Crown Court, is due to face trial next month on an animal porn charge.
