The paramedic worked with railway employees who put plans into place for the next passing train to stop in the woods to make a special pick-up.

An ambulance crew was on board the train to greet the woman, who was immobilised on a scoop stretcher.

She and the ambulance crew travelled to Earlswood Station to a waiting ambulance which took her on to her next stop—the Alexandra Hospital, in Redditch—for treatment.
