Their performance took place at a reception hosted by Stratford MP Nadhim Zahawi by permission of the Speaker of the Commons, John Bercow MP. It was held as part of the 450th anniversary of Shakespeare’s birth.

The ensemble of young people was formed by the Royal Shakespeare Company. Throughout the evening the young people also interpreted precious artefacts from the collections of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, illustrating Shakespeare’s life.
