Paramedics were called and treated the woman, who was fully conscious, while firefighters cut off the roof of the car.

Two men, who were out of their vehicles and walking wounded, were also treated.

The woman was removed from the car at 8.53am.

Complaining of back pain, she was immobilised in a neck collar and spinal board before being taken to Warwick Hospital, where she arrived at 9.34am.

The two men did not require hospital treatment.

The slip road has since been fully reopened.
